I wanted to make this guide because staking is not all luck! I repeat staking is not all luck. The attack styles matter and you have to read the flow of a match. I will post my experience with staking and what I have found out. The strategy that I use is go hard or go home, the attack styles and the entails strategy. Let me explain:
Doubling refers to the fact that whenever you lose a stake, you double your stake. The theory behind this strategy is as thus: If you lose 1m, you simply stake 2m in hopes of winning your 1m back, and still ending with a net profit of 1m. If you lose that 2m, you are down 3m, so you stake 4m. Assuming you are on equal levels with your opponent, you will then have a % chance of winning the duel. Given that, you will eventually win, and end with a profit of 1m. I mentioned % because the attack styles that you use during the duel can get you cleaned or come back with profit. I will explain what this means later in the guide.
Why does such a strategy seem so appealing? Let us consider the following scenario. You have 512m, and are doing 1m stakes, and doubling whenever you lose. That means, you have to lose 9 duels in a row (1m + 2m + 4m + 8m + 16m + 32m + 64m + 128m + 256m) to end up with a net loss, whereas if you win only one of those 9 duels, you end up with a net profit of 1m. If the probability of winning against an opponent of equal stats is 50% without using the attack style strategies, then the probability of losing money with this strategy is 1/2^9, or 0.19%. This would make the probability of profiting 99.81% (100% - 0.19%).
However, this discounts the fact that when you profit, you only profit 1m, but when you lose money and hit that 0.19% probability (which actually happens quite often; 0.19% is equivalent to 1/512, 10x more than the visage droprate from frost dragons), you lose your bank's worth of 511m.
So when you stake 1m every time, each stake you make, you have a % chance of winning or losing 1m. That makes the risk/reward ratio 1:1, a fair game. But are the odds that you make 511m using the doubling method as compared to losing 511m? If winning 1m has a 511/512 probability, then we have to take (511/512)^511. Even if you have a 99.81% chance of winning each individual time, the probability that you will profit 511 times is only 36.8%!
With a larger starting cash stack, this probability remains much the same, because although the probability of winning money each individual stake is yet greater, you lose yet more money when you get cleaned.
Now to talk about the attack style Strategy and how to boost from 50% (ametures hoping on luck and getting cleaned) to 65% even 90% which I have managed to do. 10 fights 9 wins.
There are 3 main factors when it comes into staking, i will firstly cover the most popular
way of staking, Dds and whipping.
Accuracy
Hitpoints
Max hits/Strength
Accuracy mainly will come into play during dds stakes, Accuracy is just the attack and
defence of your characters stats. Accuracy also comes into play with boxing, the higher
accuracy you have it gives you the better advantage since boxing max hits are every 10
levels. But accuracy can come in very clutch when your opponents HP looks lower than 24.
Hitpoints is a very key part in staking , hitpoints is so important because, all the stakes
you will do is based off of hitpoints, The higher Hitpoints you have the longer you will last
in the stake, Easy ways to gain Hitpoints levels without leveling your Attack, Strength
and Defence would be, Chinning your range or Bursting your mage, which are quite
expensive methods but they are quick and get you the levels you want. This is the Method that Nitrate, Hype and S W A M I use to get high Hp without increasing Attack, Strength, and Defense.
Max hits are also a big part of staking, max hits are just the Highest hit you can hit at
your strength level. The chart below will show you max hits for your strength levels, all
these hits are based off of using Lunge/Lash/Slash, with your whip/dds/scimmy ( the
aggressive attack style).

Since all these max hits are on aggressive attack style, and you want to find the
accurate max hit you will add +3 levels to the max hit level for that hit, for example
you want to use the accurate whip attack in a stake, and your strength level is 91,
The closest max hit for whip would be 23 at level 90 strength, so if you will use
accurate your max hit level for 23 would be 93 strength. That rule goes for every
weapon you will use on different styles. The only time when your max hit will not matter
is when your opponents hit points are lower than your max hit. For example, his hitpoints
are 16 and your max hit is 18, it would be smarter to use the Attack style instead of the Strength Style for your max hit because you can't max on that person. Instead, Go for accuracy. That is very crucial when you are staking.
If your opponent is losing to you and you want to clean this kid out, Say something like " Okay thanks for the Gold! " and decline. What will happen is
A. He will get offended, and want to make it back to show you up.
B. That won't matter to him, so he will let it go, and find someone else to stake.
Pid/First Hit
Pid/First hit is randomly switch between the 2 people staking, if both stakers would
attack at the same time, First hit DOES matter, having first hit can win you a stake in
alot of cases, it is always important to make sure you click your opponent as the Timer
goes down, you always want to make sure your click registers, so entering a stake i
would click your opponent as fast as you can.
When you are staking against your opponent and you are hitting constant zeros, You should switch attack styles to change the momentum of the fight. Different attack styles tend to work against your opponent compared to your previous opponent. It all comes down to what attack styles they are using to fight against you. If you hit more frequently with attack then deflect or strength, its common sense to stick with that. Also, switch between deflect for defense and attack or strength depending on how the fight is going.
ALWAYS Make sure, the rules include
No food,
No drinks,
No prayer,
No Movement
No Range
No magic,
Thats about it! Please PM me if you have any questions about this guide. And I want to give a shoutout to Bejoodles for helping me with this guide.
